Tabacalera Perdomo is the creator of some of the finest cigars made. That’s what Tabacalera Perdomo, which essentially means Cigar Factory Perdomo, is all about. It is the second largest tabacalera in Nicaragua, and the cigars are still made by hand – just like they did back in the little shops of Cuba.

Cuba is where it all began for Silvio Perdomo. His experience rolling cigars for such brands as Cuesta y Cia, H. Upmann and Partagas added to his son Nick’s desire to continue with his father’s cigar making tradition after Silvio was imprisoned in Cuba during the revolutionary years.

It was Nick’s son, Nick Jr., who began producing full-bodied cigars when he created “Nick’s Cigar Company,” in Miami, Fl., at a time when many other companies were making milder smokes.

As the business grew, Nick Jr. decided it would be more cost effective to move to Nicaragua and open up a large factory to expand production.

One of his first creations there was the outstanding Perdomo, which cemented the Perdomo legacy. From that moment on, Tabacalera Perdomo became, and continues to be, one of the elite cigar making factories in the world.

Products include the Perdomo Edition De Silvio, which is dedicated to the patriarch of the Perdomo family and uses a family secret binder. These cigars are aged in oak casks and offer an incredible earthy yet smooth taste unlike anything else.

The world renowned Perdomo² with it’s taste of sweet oak, dark chocolate and roasted coffee, the Perdomo Grand Cru, aged in Spanish cedar bins, with a hint of sweet cedar, and rated a 94 in Cigar Aficionado, and Nick’s Sticks that feature a smooth creamy smoke and a short finish. But that is just the beginning! You’ll have to try one for yourself to see the flavors.

As their creed goes, “Tabacalera Perdomo is a company built on three distinct pillars: quality, tradition and excellence.” Once you take your first taste, you’ll understand exactly what that means.
